I completely fell in love with this Nutcracker Dessert Table that Christie from Flaired Affairs sent in! Other than every thing being beyond gorgeous, my favorite part was the children’s face painting!! How adorable they looked! Not to mention that the table has my two favorite colors, pink and turquoise! Here is what Christie had to say about it all!
I knew I wanted to do a Christmas dessert table this year and I was inspired by recent posters for a local ballet company who performs the Nutcracker annually.. First, while it is a Christmas event, it is outside of what I would call traditional Christmas. Coupled with the non-traditional colorscapes I chose of teal, pink and gold, it felt a little bit out of the ordinary just as I wanted. Add a dash of sparkle, and it was magical. One of my favorite elements of the entire style were the little party guests all painted up as their favorite character – Oh What Fun We Had!
